The Board of Directors is the highest governing body within the Students' Society. They make the final decisions for SESS policy and budgetary changes. They meet on a monthly basis throughout the year and are comprised of 12 voting members from discipline societies and the SESS.
The Executive of the Students' Society manages the bulk of the operations (that's us!). They're at the forefront of the SESS: planning large events, organizing tutorials, running the SESS office, coordinating engineering conferences and competitions, managing commissioners, and much more.
The Commissioners work under the Executive and ensure that specific operations of the SESS run smoothly. There are 17 commissioners, with duties ranging from small day-to-day tasks to large event coordination.
First-Year Representatives are the first-year engineering students that form the First-Year Council (FYC). The FYC delivers announcements to first-year classes and plans events aimed at first-year engineering students. It's a great way to become involved in the college and the students' society right away!
